I'm a former physicist living in Germany and working on search technology and speech assistants in the last years. To try new technologies I worked on several Open Source projects in my spare time. For example a better Twitter search based on ElasticSearch or a project to create a search engine in 100% JavaScript.
Finally I'm working full time on my Open Source road routing engine called GraphHopper exploring graph algorithms and high performance Java.
